Venue Hire

Smith & Gertrude has a street-facing retail space right near the corner of Smith and Gertrude Streets. It’s ideal for product launches, workshops, as a pop-up retail space or small meetings.

You can hire just downstairs or both upstairs and downstairs on a daily basis, with a discount for multiple day hires.

SINGLE LEVEL - DOWNSTAIRS or UPSTAIRS:

1 day (up to 8 hours): $300.00

2 days (up to 8 hours per day): $500.00

3 or more days (up to 8 hours per day): $230.00 per day

Additional hours: $50.00 per hour.

BOTH LEVELS:

1 day (up to 8 hours): $400.00

2 days (up to 8 hours per day): $700.00

3 or more days (up to 8 hours per day): $330.00 per day

Additional hours: $70.00 per hour.

INCLUDES:

Use of Bluetooth speaker.

30 minutes bump-in support.

One Instagram post per event.

Website exhibition with listing image and blurb.

Flexible opening hours, including nights.

Large water jug for events.

Small kettle for events.

Non-gendered bathroom access.

Refrigerator and microwave access.

 

OPTIONS:

Additional support hours: $75 per hour.

(half an hour included in hire fee)

Additional Instagram posts: $40 per post.

Event photography: $200 per event (two hours - 30 images).

$5 per additional image.

Projector hire (2 available): 1 day - $50 per projector.

2 days - $90 per projector.

Projector hire includes plinth and electricity.

Projector screen hire: $25 per day.

Plinth hire: $15 per plinth per day.

Glassware: $20 hire fee per day.

Large urn: $25 per day.

Trestle Tables x3: $20 per day.

Chairs / stools x12: $20 per day.

Note:  Workshops that involve messy materials (such as clay, ink or paint) are welcome.   Hirer to clean excess mess within the booked hours.
